When most people think of North Dakota, they think first of agriculture. And, it’s true, especially in eastern North Dakota. But drive west, and the landscape changes. The golden wheat fields and straight-as-an-arrow sunflower rows give way to rolling hills. Eons ago, dinosaur roamed there, and the state’s abundant energy resources now lie underneath those hills.In the 1950s, North Dakotans began developing these resources, and they’ve used their business expertise and innovative spirit to make them what they are today.
